CATHERINE GOODWIN
These paintings were created by Catherine Goodwin, an Atlantic artist . Born in Cape Sable Island in the south western part of Nova Scotia as a child she was interested in the creativity that nature had to offer. A self taught artist her work is mainly with acrylics a medium that allows her to paint beautiful detailed images of strong animals. Although not completely indigenous to the atlantic coast(except for the labs), some of these animals/birds like the eagles can be see in our Annapolis Valley region at certain times of the year in great numbers.
