Eunice Ernst - Biography
I grew up in a small fishing village along the south shore of Nova Scotia. As
a child I enjoyed expressing myself through crafts of all kinds, with whatever
came to hand as my medium. Formal training began when my grandmother taught
me to quilt. From then my thirst for knowledge has not been quenched. I continue
to learn and hone my skills. My interests had developed towards murals and decorative
painting. Soon my talent and portfolio had developed to the point that it could
no longer be contained within my own home. I discovered oils and watercolors
to be a more personal reflection of the inspiration found along the beautiful
shores of my native Nova Scotia. Now, I offer original oil paintings, which
bring to life the ever changing and colorful scenery found along the rugged
coast of the Atlantic Ocean. My paintings are in private collections throughout
North America, and can be found in several public galleries in Nova Scotia.
