Peter Matyas - Biography

Born in Toronto, Ontario this nationally recognized painter and muralist decided to move his family to the east coast in 1999 to breath the salt air, pursue his craft and enjoy the laidback lifestyle and hospitality Altantic Canada is famous for. Originally he attended the New School of Art in Toronto and later at the Baniff School of Fine Art. Peter's work has been shown in many group and single exhibitions. His private client collections include the Office of the Premier of Ontario, the former Prime Minister of Canada Pierre E. Trudeau and Roberto Alamar former Blue Jay all star. His love of murals is also well documented, although you would have to travel a great deal to view them all.
