Painted from a memory I have of spending my summers in Hunts Point(next to Somerville). My family and I would visit our good friends Emma and Gordon Payne who were both very gifted painters. I remember as a boy sitting in Gordon's studio watching him paint the boats and scenery around their home. They have both since departed this world and unfortunately I do not have a picture of Gordon Payne's beautiful art.
